Production Manager
Manufacturing
Awka, Anambra · Full-time · On-site

Lead Rotic's manufacturing operations end-to-end, ensuring efficient production planning, process improvement, quality consistency, and achievement of operational targets. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership capability, and a commitment to building world-class manufacturing systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing end-to-end production including extrusion, aging, powder coating, and finishing
  • Developing production plans and ensuring timely achievement of output targets
  • Improving productivity, reducing waste, and optimising resource utilisation
  • Establishing production standards, processes, and performance metrics
  • Leading production teams and building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with maintenance, quality, warehouse, and management teams

Requirements

  • Degree/HND in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline
  • 7+ years experience managing manufacturing operations
  • Experience in aluminium extrusion or heavy manufacturing is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, process improvement, and team leadership

Responsible for managing daily production activities across assigned shifts, ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent manufacturing operations. This role oversees production teams, monitors output, maintains quality standards, and drives continuous improvement across the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing daily shift production activities across extrusion, finishing, and related operations
  • Ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are achieved
  • Leading production supervisors and operators to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Monitoring machine performance, downtime, material usage, and production losses
  • Coordinating with maintenance, quality, warehouse, and planning teams
  • Ensuring proper adherence to production procedures and reporting standards

Requirements

  • Degree/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in manufacturing operations, preferably aluminium extrusion or similar industries
  • Strong leadership and shift management experience
  • Good understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety practices

  • HND/Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in warehouse or logistics operations
  • Strong inventory management and team supervision skills
  • Experience with ERP systems is an advantage

Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock movements, and improving inventory accuracy across raw materials, spare parts, finished goods, and production materials.

  • Monitoring material usage, variances, and inventory movements
  • Supporting barcode systems, bin location controls, and inventory processes
  • Investigating inventory discrepancies and recommending improvements
  • Working with warehouse, production, and finance teams to improve stock accuracy

Requirements

  • Degree/HND in Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
  • 2+ years experience in inventory control or warehouse operations
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Experience with ERP systems and inventory management tools preferred
